Mouthguards are available in two fit types: traditional Boil and Bite or Instant Fit.

Boil and Bite mouthguards conform to your teeth. The mouthguard softens in hot water, allowing you to bite into it so that it molds to your teeth shape. This provides a close fit, mimics a custom fitted mouthguard and provides excellent protection.

Instant Fit mouthguards do not require molding of any kind. They can simply be taken out of the packaging and used right away. They are easy to remove when needed—between downs in football, for example—and utliize advanced impact absorption technology found in boil and bite mouthguards. Instant Fit options include Football lip guards and Braces mouthguards.
